Just thought I would put it out there for WP supporters as to your thoughts on where we could be expected to finish in the shortened 2020 season. We have lost Riddoch, Chalmers and Strijk who were a high percentage of our scoring power in 2019 and gained some untried players from lesser competitions. That being said we still have a solid core group that I feel can still feature in the top 4 if injuries are kind to us.

Up forward we still boast a reasonable attack with Keitel, Lourey, Knott and Medhat will no doubt be introduced. We won the Dags GF with some good quality kids coming through, Kooper Todd looks a likely live wire forward and Conol Lynch is ready to take the next step.

Leedy, with it being a shortened season and WP having a quality of core guys, stay fit and WP will definitely be top four competitive...I think a full season may of tested WP playing stocks, but as you say, as reigning reserves premiers, your stocks may be not as depleted as people think....though Strijk is a big loss...the EF defenders will be glad not to have to worry about him!

Spot on Freeze, it will be interesting to watch all sides tbh, I reckon each game will be at a frenetic pace as all wins with be worth there weight in gold. Since I put this topic up it looks like we have regained Luke Meadows from the VFL, he has been training with us since the restrictions were eased so that is a extra big bodied mid to our stocks. Thats of course if he is not roached by opposition clubs meanwhile.

WP will definitely be around the mark and if they regain Meadows, that’s a huge boost

You should of kept it quiet Loopy, the Buffalo has got a theory about playing mids off a half back flank that makes AFL scouts sit up and take notice and that club is building a war chest apparently.

My announcement of Meadows training with WP would only be new material for the likes of Fagdorn, for every other WAFL punter it would be old news !

Come on mate that's a bit harsh. He needs time to read Ozfooty and break the news the next day. Most of their WAFL stuff is usually one day behind this place.

Is this the same Buffalo who won a flag and played multiple finals with a side on a shoestring budget DD.....whilst the grand ole Duke of Perth, with his war chest of funds, splurged out on building a spoon collection...LOL

Yeh right, shoestring budget. Tell that to the creditors who got paid SFA while this mob kept recruiting. Take a look at their forward line, basically all recruits and one of them is now behind bars. Luckily for the Buffalo he got out just in time.

You wouldn't want a slow start this season, last season we lost our first 5 games, I think WP are going to blood a few young players this season looking more to the 21 season.
