TRS, its not dumb at all and yes your correct, $ubi know exactly where the money comes from and where it goes but the tax man doesn't, thats how you can afford the best players in Australia and also poach the best from the WAFL. There is definitely a tiny element of players wanting to go there to win flags but when you have a cheque book mentality it filters through to the players and they all want a larger piece of the pie. Im not sure if 100% accurate but there was some talk that a number of players at $ubi were not happy after not being payed from last season for 3 months.

Given we've only lost Wheeler to retirement, Joyce and Moore to ammos and Edwards-Baldwin to Victoria from last years premiership side your talk of players not being happy sounds like crap to me Leedy.
