Heading off for a week to Sydney for Army reunion. Back on 1/2 Nov..
Having been a old webmaster myself I have learnt that to keep sites ticking over is to post. Hopefully we can keep it up over the off season.
Really doesnt Matter what the subject is as their is always someone who wants to have a Yarn.. I have got into Rugby League as a lot of followers over here in the West.. (ok I will accept the slagging)... V8's...Cricket and now that I am back into the Baseball maybe a bit on the state league and Heat.
All in General of course!!!!!!
Melville Braves are looking good at the moment with 2 wins out of 3 in the A grade and 3 wins to the Reserve side. All looking good until we lose our Heat guys but nice to get off to a good start. Will start a topic up when I get back.
As I said move posts the merrier on any subject as we are all Sportaholics on here.

Perth Heat and Swan Districts FC had it going quite good at Bassendean there for awhile. Apparently Greg Jelks was quite good at Aussie Rules, and some of the Swannies at Baseball...

The ABL season starts again shortly. They have quite a good setup in Canberra, and I actually went to one of the games against Perth Heat there last season... Its always like a cheap trip to the states, as there is no shortage of Americans there. Beers cheap, hot dogs are good though.

Like you im into a lot of sports,mostly follow anything West Australians are playing,even watch Perth Glory,i find soccer very boring[especially 0-0 draws]but will still watch.
Hopefully WA get another shot at joining the rugby league soon,i used to follow the Western Reds.
Western Force i like to watch,been tough last few years and losing Sharpe and Pocock will be tough to cover but who knows,maybe some of the new faces will be guns.
Warriors also i follow but getting sick of the same ole shite,batsmen fail and give the bowlers no chance.

Great day at the cricket Souther Metro the other week EXCEPT THE BAR WAS A BIT SLACK!!!..Want to know what happened in the end but EF batting this week so should get there. When I get back from Newcastle (Army Reunion - god help me) Will be down to EF Cricket club for a beer and some good cricket.

Gee interesting was flying out today at 6am (24 Oct)... Yeh bloody early start!!. Heading to Sydney for a Army Pissup oops I mean reunion and Whilst sitting in my Virgin seat (I wish) Steve Morgan walked up the aisle. Said to him Go You Mighty Cardies and he said hello nice to see you.. Hey maybe he was off to see SEABS.. Yeh most probably more like personal business.. Made my day though cause any WPFC person is a GOOD person...Just a bit of banter or was it the sighting of a Celeb? Maybe not. Keep up the good work Steve and sorry I couldnt come and see you but I was VERY VERY tired after a 0330am Start to the day.. Bloody Daylight saving sucks. Lost 3 hours comming over here but HEY will pick it up OTW back..
Just a rambling...Sure someone will have something to say. ps Steve is on the WPFC Committee.
