Struggle to kick big tallies in wet or dry conditions,we have kicked over 10 goals only once in the past 6 matches,thats not good enough.
Sooner or later the recruiting people at this club have to go all out to recruit a power forward.
This isnt the only area of concern,our much applauded mids get plenty of the ball but dont hurt the opposition.
We have a ruckman that tries hard but seriously hes just not a ruckman that can do it on his own each week,does absolutely nothing around the ground.

Snake has been there a while he either plays finals and wins at least one or he seriously gets looked at along with others off-field at seasons end.

It’s is the zone and no amount of recruiting beats it long term

To bridge the gap we need to start producing a consistent talent pool of players to provide the depth.
Then add the marquee players. IMO it is a two edge sword required to sweep the club into the powerhouse that we want it to be.
It won’t be done unless we sharpen both sides of the blade. It must be a balance between depth and recruiting.
Our zones have not been good to us in comparison to other clubs. We must take a stand on these issues.
We need positive action on all fronts.

Hawaii 1-4 just doesn’t have the same ring

there is another problem which needs to be addressed together with zones and appropriate recruiting and that is putting up the draft age. The PFC has produced Lance Franklin, the best player to come out of the state for thirty years --Johnson, Troy Cook, Bateman, Darren Glass along with quite a few others -- so, as a league we need to try and get them playing two or three seasons before they go to the east.

EF have had a good zone and not won a flag for twenty years -- it is the draft age not the zone
EP, PA, and WP are the clubs which have had poor zones.
