Maybe. Never happened in the past. You’re dead right though. The phone app leaves a lot to be desired.

Anyone watch the replay yet ? I could not believe my ears..... in 3 quarter time interview Jeremy Barnard accused us of cheating.
Xavier Ellis a totally biased commentator as was the "bird' they had on.
It is Joel Houghton as in Hawtin not Howton.
It took 3 quarters for the commentators to figure out Gordon Narrier was not playing. They called Edmonds as Narrier.
All very unprofessional by Channel seven IMO.

I'm still watching it Smokey I couldn't believe Mark Readings who is a Perth supporter could call Brett Edmonds Gordon Narrier for 3 qtrs and early on he called Sam Garstone Baldwin-Wright (Dakota). Both played ressies. FFS do your homework boys amateur stuff and I thought maybe the budget was wrong but both Edmonds and Garstone were listed correctly. I thought the female commentator was the pick of them TBH. She often referred to Perth as "typical the way they play winning contested ball".

We certainly haven't reproduced the clean 4 qtr effort we showed against WC in the opening game but some good signs nonetheless. Corey Byrne is back to his best, Leggett, CJ and Colledge continue to lead the way and I reckon our back half is as good as any going around atm.

Smokey they call Joel Houghton's sister "Howton" the last few years so maybe we have been getting it wrong? She was there today with a few Fremantle team mates I assume.

As a neutral watching the game I thought the ground came up brilliantly on TV, it was a scrappy game but Perth were clearly the better team and the commentary was pretty ordinary as has already been pointed out. No excuses for not knowing who the players are and the woman commentator particularly was almost barracking for East Perth. I heard her say several times when East Perth players were lining up for goal " Lets hope that he can finish the work off with a goal" . You have got to be unbiased in your call. Is Dennis Cometti not doing WAFL this year?

Mikeh, I think that the lighting is great. Certainly the best of any all the WAFL grounds.
There were some comments suggesting some dark spots. It cannot be compared to Subi Oval or Optus but is next best in this State.
I do think that some tinkering may be needed with the angle of each light in each tower. Not sure what the science is but the lighting experts will get it right no doubt.
There were some comments that the lighting was better looking down on the ground from the grandstand.
Anyway, it is certainly up to standard for night TV games

Western pockets a bit dim from ground level but that minor complaint cos much better than other wafl grounds as said.

PFC played OK at best. Lack of system going forward very noticeable. Still a win is a win, again as said. I'm sure Earl and co spot the problems and will do what they can to fix them.

I'm pretty sure he was using the term "cheating" the same way Earl has often referred to EF as "we spoke about how they like to cheat" meaning go out the back picking up cheap possessions. Nothing in it.
