It was only a matter of time.
Also I read where Ninyette was reported. There could be a few changes this week.

Looking at our match stats so far - forget Subiaco they are way ahead of the rest - we have equal second highest score for but the highest score against.
The latter is the result of lack of height down back, silly decisions and skill errors in defence and our inability to deal with the fast running transition plays of the opposition as was shown by EPWCE on Saturday.
Not having Sinclair on Saturday did not help and we wont have him back for 6 weeks but that is not the whole problem. We don't have the height, nor the depth down back but, probably more importantly, we don't have any idea how to stop that fast hard running transition from defence that catches us out every week.
We were exposed by EPWCE on Saturday and we will most likely be caught out again by West Perth next Saturday.
Perhaps we are not far away from the pack. Fix these problems and we should see us being much more competitive. It is hard to fault the grit and determination of the boys each week but IMHO 80% of our problem is defence.

Think Spencer White is the key to Perth's fortunes this season....lose him and who will step up?. with his injury history it is merely a matter of when not if he breaks down...fingers crossed the goods are smiling on Spencer this winter....every time he goes near the footy you Perth boys must be holding your breath

Freez unfortunately we are going to find it v tough to cover absence of best defender and best forward. At PFC everything has to go right for anything to go right and it is rare that everything goes right. I am hopeful that there is enough overall improvement to cover for them for a few weeks but good players are good players cos they are hard to replace. Hearts in mouths over here.

White is a bit like your George I guess...

Very true STT......clubs like EF and Perth don't have the depth to cover their gooduns when they go down.....been like that for a while sadly

I have a lot of faith in the Dees. Will we finish last yeah probably. We have gone hard at the recruiting table over the last 2 years but have had some terrible luck (Graham, Tendai, Smith,Wellingham etc) . We have also been beaten at the finish line for some great recruits by some more financial clubs who are obviously paying a little more and probably under the table. We only lost two of our own up and coming potential stars this year. One through family commitments over east and another through - well I'm hearing varying reports why he isn't playing. Get these two boys back and add 1 more tall defender and a second Ruck and we will be a strong side. We are not far away.... We just beat last years Premiers. We cant judge ourselves too harshly against half the eagles. This week against WP will be more of an accurate reflection to where we are at.

Which two players are they PD?

Zareth Roe and Joshua Burke and IMO were going to be great WAFL footballers.
