Watched Irons in a Reserve game late last year and I firmly believe his best position is deep forward and pinch hitting on a wing. Brookes should be in the side for his versatility. Stack should be kept in the team but start deep forward. I like having Eyres and Garstone in to give height forward and 2 back up ruck options. Clem Smith is the missing link in this team. With him replacing Etto on a wing would have been nice.

Don't know whether it's a misprint or not but apparently we beat WP by thirteen goals today, 22.17to 11.5 it begs the question what sort of side lined up against Peel last week.

Well that is the second bright note out of today.

The result was on the club's Facebook page pretty quick. The 108 point loss to Peelmantle last week never cracked a mention. Looks like some of those wooden spoons in the trophy cabinet will have to be pushed aside to make room for some silverware after all. Nothing more certain.
