mate in all honesty I dont think a handfull of blokes playing minor grade cricket is going to have an impact of WAFL attendance figures.

They had fixtured Penrith and Wests in Western suburbs of Sydney and still only managed to scrap 9,000 people to what should have been a massive game in one of the countries biggest codes. This game is apparently on par to a East vs South Freo derby.

Is the NRL renown for really big crowds??

The WAFL opening round was always one of the biggest attended.

I doubt there will be many empty seats at Subi this weekend.
