Sounded very fete accompli to me hearing him speak on 6PR tonite!

Well it's a fete acompli that he signed with Perth and not Swans for two years and GWS for one year. By my calculations he'll be back playing for the Demons again, just delayed a year.

I would think the 2 years he signed with Perth is now null and void as there would have been a clause in the event he got rookied so it will be open slather again when he is done! ;)

In your mind it would be but you obviously ignore the fact he is loyal to Perth and showed that by signing with us despite your clubs best efforts. Good luck to him he's been thrown a lifeline.

Maybe you should ask your "inside source" at the Perth FC about his commitment to Perth.

Loyal to Perth? Hahaha yeh 2mths after shopping himself around for the best deal!
Beneath the Southern cross i stand, on Bassendean Oval, can in hand, Swan Districts, you Farkin Beauty!

What is a fait accompli is that the WAFC does not give a stuff about the WAFL and the history of the WAFL.

cesspit: thanks --

Just to clear up the confusion for people:

Mick Ray played for PFC, EP and Subiaco -- his career ended in 1980

Mick Rae was a Victorian whom ended up at the PFC via WP and gave Michael Crutchfield, and other full backs in the competition, a lot of trouble throughout the 1980s.

Gents, Stinger's name is Rea (actual spelling)... Mick Rea. The best full forward Perth had in the latter part of the 20th century. Played 121 games after coming over from West Perth was our leading goalscorer for seven consecutive years and kicked 458 goals for both clubs most of them at Perth.
Often seen at the club at reunions.

The other guy is Mick Ray played 88 games between 1969 and 1974 before joining East Perth. I am unaware whether or not he was ever called Stinger.
