Couple of key sentences in your post DD, Subi could have exercised an extension to their legal lease contract over Subi oval until 2090, obviously that was not a sensible option back in 2011 with either a redeveloped subi oval or a new stadium on the horizon, Subi and the WAFL agreed to a negotiated settlement.

"An option to extend the lease until 2090 will not be exercised, with the WAFC and SFC agreeing to terms for all remaining AFL games at Patersons Stadium to a maximum of 10 years.

The lease extension will be granted as a compensation payment required under the current lease agreement."

This thread was going along famously until posters like yourself, DD & 30+ made unsubstantiated comments about the SFC, you boys opened the door, so don't winge and get all precious about some come back from Subi supporters. You proudly state how Swans cleverly negotiated themselves out of a salary cap breach, then in the same breath criticize Subi for cleverly negotiating their way out of a points management situation, your hypocricy is breathtaking.

I certainly wish you had of extended your lease until 2090 so you you would be paying a lease on an empty stadium. That would be good karma.

SS I don't think I actually mentioned any club in particular although you and Mudlark got on the defensive pretty quickly.....guilty conscience maybe?

So which club were you referring to, you have a choice of 8 others besides your own so please enlighten us?
