Tell me please. Did I hear correctly? The CEO of the Commission saying that winning premierships shouldn't be the aim of clubs? It should be maximising participation and providing pathways and development for players? Or did I misinterpret that? Bewdy. Let's take away premierships points, let's not keep scores and give all players a ribbon with "I ran in a race" on it. This would mean that Perth have, in fact, been very successful in the past forty years after all!!

Yes I heard that comment CM and I was absolutely staggered. What chance have we got of keeping our competition credible with a guy like that in charge. My feeling is that this "review" is going to have as one of its recommendations that the WAFL is rebadged as AFLWA to " provide clear pathways" but in reality just to suit the AFL clubs needs. If this ends up happening, I will walk away and start following an Amateur club

Oh joy the WAFL app is down again. But I guess it's ok cos the results aren't important anyway.

May as well take up following an oz kick team where no scores are kept.

So why would any company bother sponsoring a wafl club or a supporter renewing your club membership??

Find some help for White next year and you guys should be potent up front....was gonna say McInnes, but he played for EP reserves today, so maybe you need to look elsewhere.....amazing to see how many possies your mids got were Jones and Tropiano waxing or something?

It was pretty much one way traffic and there was plenty of ball to share around in the first half. A pretty even third and fourth quarters and Perth mids sat behind the ball in the last quarter and picked up plenty of junk possessions. I thought Marshall Jones was a good target across half forward and Ashley Boyes played a mighty game for a list clogger.

I was going to say Spencer White must have shown signs today.
Not huge number of possessions but was potent in the first half with 5 goals.
I reckon get a tall leading full forward that kicks goals.
Play Spencer at CHF and I think we have a potent forward line.
I was a bit concerned that our second half effort fell away a bit, or am I being unfair.

No, the second half was poor.

Spencer White kicked some good goals but disappeared in the second half like the rest of the forward line.

I only saw the second half and thought we looked pretty usual. A couple of easy dropped marks come to mind. I too was supprised with Boyes - I have criticised him before but looked ok in the half I saw. Definitely a fan of Marshall Jones. Cody Leggett and Jacobs were great too.

No need to mention Jones and Trop.

Interesting having Eyers in thought he did ok.

Mills #28 didn't do much.

Thought Gianatti and Wally struggled. Was surprised to see Taylor in the awards. I for one like Lachlan Dennis.

People tell me it was Graham's best game for us.

That's a worry Dazzler.
They thought the job was done.
Not good enough.
I like the look of White he looks a player to me.
But we have to understand his strengths and play him where he should be played.
Not so close to goal for me.
Maybe he will be better for an uninterrupted pre-season.
I heard that Busher wants to come back and the leadership group don't want him back.
The Club cannot be run by the leadership group.
I can see some value in Busher coming back, not up front back down back.
And he's versatile, we have to get over things, he is a possible cheap recruit from a points perspective.
