Didn't see colts but apparently got belted by large margin.
Ressies belted EF, only saw last quarter and a half but impressed by Harrison Morgan up forward, took a number of really strong contested marks. Kicking at goals was a bit wayward but he was getting plenty of it.

Just on Michael Mather in league game, was best I have seen him play, some of his clearance work was outstanding. Whether it is increased opportunity, having a decent midfield coach in Pickers or natural development he seems to be capable of stepping up a level and I look forward to seeing how his season goes.

Anyone know where Joel Leeson is?

There was some suggestion of Joel Leeson going back to the country.

Although still seems to be on our list.

Reserves won really well and played some pretty good footy.

And went through post high at the northern end of the ground and into a stiff breeze.
Pretty to watch.

Wrong way Smokester.

Remember the station is at the Northern end now.

And we were kicking to the southern end.

Bloody good kick though.

No it was the northern end. You lost all sense of direction.
You know I've never been wrong. Thought I was wrong once but thankfully I was mistaken.

I left the game in a good frame of mind....maybe that was the beers but there was plenty to like. Reimers and Bateman did not play and in the last quarter when we were 2 goals down that may have been the difference. Most of us gave the umps a serve in the last when we definately had EF rattled but a few decisions went against and they ran away with it. If anyone should take a message from that game it should be EF!! They will be thinking about our next meeting in the season proper as more than a walk over thats for sure.

Yeah no doubt Malaxos will be thinking how in the hell am I gonna squeeze Hadley, BOB, Dick, Stephen and more than likely Mitch Brown into that side....I wonder if 211 will be fit when EF play Perth first up?...I hear he's only 4 weeks away and may need a run in the WAFL to stretch his legs.....whatever happened in this scratch has little bearing in what will go off when Perth play EF next time....though from the sounds of it Reimers seems a better fit in Perths development side than the league side.....
