but what if someone who is in say the bottom 10 of the list wants to move to another club for more opportunities? for example, Reece Blechynden at Subi wouldn't be in the best 22 but would in the top 30.

He's a very good player and would probably do well at Perth or EF...would he be prevented from moving clubs? Smacks of restraint of trade to me given WAFL players are semi-professional.

No restriction of trade as there potentially could be more opportunity for players to move ie they can move if they are not included in the submitted club list pre start of season or the mid season draft.

STT: it is certainly true that the WP players have improved markedly since they have had their pay guaranteed -- 20 goal turn around against the same opposition in a fortnight.
