It would be huge DF but I think his performances have been consistent enough throughout the season to seriously challenge for a top four finish at least.

I'd take Risol and Leyendekkers back but first we need to address and I think both of these positions are of equal importance are a big dominating ruckman and a key forward. These are the two positions that are the most urgent within the team and IMO need addressing over other holes in the squad.

Mr AFL Risol is not the whole answer down back, we need another tall defender to help him out.
Agree Tall forward and mature ruckman (Lleyendekkers a bonus).
Risol and Lleyandekkers are merely bonuses.

Maybe some others will develop but need more time.
Latch for instance has shown a bit.

I do think we may be on the right track, but the recruiting this year is critical.
If we see Risol & Lleyendekkers as "the answer" and not a bonus then we are doomed.
I fear the DOF may see this as so.

I didn't say he was the whole answer down back. IMO we need a key forward a a dominating ruckman more than we need a key back.

Against the really good teams you need at least 2 talls down back.
That's just my view.
The more we do the better because we have a long way to catch up to the top sides let alone pass them.

Yep agree.
To get better this club has to get serious when looking at new player personel.
The CEO makes bold statements re-recuiting for 2016,he needs to stand by what he says!

The club MUST look at our spine and address the lack of firepower and grunt down the guts we need genuine tall KPP'S..

The CEO & Football Manager have all good intentions.

BUT they are constrained by the budget provided by the Board.

The decision to get serious must come from boardroom table !!!

The leader there must be the President.

I am not optimistic.

Current based WA players that have still not signed contracts with their AFL sides next season are Shane Kersten, Mason Shaw, and Aliir Aliir. Others that are not from WA are Mitch Harvey, Mitch Golby and Sam Naismith.

If any of these players no longer find themselves on an AFL list for 2016 then I would hope the club would be in contact with them and their management ASAP.

Sam Naismith is one that I would like to signal out. Is a ruckman that is handy around the goals. 205cm, 104kg and is 23 years old.

Yep all players have to be looked at.

I hope the higher point players we target are older players with a bit of experience,by that i mean 24,25,26 yr olds.

I think the higher points need to be spent on a ruckman first, then a key forward and then some class in the midfield. If there's points left then get a key back. Fraser McInnes and Simon Tunbridge are also out of contract. Am not saying that these two should be our number one targets and I hope the club don't just rely on players coming back to the club but both are one point players and compared to our squad at the moment you would think that they would both be in the best 22.

I reckon an area we can improve in without recruiting is fitness and ball skills. The fitness has improved this year compared to the last couple of seasons and the team need another big preseason to go to another level, fitness wise. Our ball use has at times been deplorable this year. Turnovers that result in the opposition kicking goals and the service that some of our forwards receive also results in opportunities lost. We improve that and our average loosing margin of roughly 9 goals drops to in my opinion 5 or 6 goals.

Should we be going to the commission and asking for an extra 10 player points like Peel have. I think we should.
