They worked hard to get the win today. Much deserved.

I thought Sam Garstone battled manfully against a bigger bodied Rob Young who normally completely reams us.

Reid Polak, despite holding on to the ball too much sometimes, is a playmaker who takes it on and looked good up forward.

And Kelvin Lawrence played a great second half and set up one and kicked another in the last 10 minutes to seal the win.

Smart move by Earl sending Bell to O'Brien after he got off the leash against Morton. Great to finally have a coach who responds to the tempo of the game.

25 frees to EF and only 11 to Perth?? Can someone give a summation of the maggots? Seems like it was 25 on to 22 as well..Well done Demons!!

Although being a Black Duck through and through I do have a bit of a soft spot for Perth and keep a close eye on them having played some colts there at the turn of the century. I said this earlier in the year.... I reckon the Dees are in a much better place now than at the same time last year regardless of win/loss ratio! With games into youth and then the right recruiting next year i can see continued improvement. Hopefully everyone involved can stay the course and the club as a whole can continue to improve as it's obviously still going to be a tough slog.

Well mate I can tell you parry had nothing to do with it, he was too busy trying to fk us over AGAIN!

Those men in the very fetching fluorescent lime green did a tremendous job. They had a whistle blowing competition going amongst themselves it seemed. Everyone cheered their decisions and they were clapped off the ground to great applause. Even the half a dozen free kicks paid to that serial head ducker Rory O'Brien were all deserved.

Next time someone needs to give Brock O'Brien a whistle. He did a great job advising the umps on when to pay frees.

Pity they listened to him Dazzler.

Of the three umpires in charge of the 2010 GF, Staham, Hendrie and Parry, the umpire who received the most boos after the game was Parry. He has not improved in the subsequent 5 years. Place collectively their performances in the main rival the WAFC in ineptitude.

Well done to Perth on their victory over East Freo. I am sure that Freezin is over the moon with his club's performance. Hopefully, Perth will repeat the performance in three weeks' time.
