Enjoyed the game on TV. Thought coverage was good and Perths fight from quarter time was great. Lots of good young kids.

just had a chat to my brother who was at the game.....kudos to Perth for dragging themselves back into the contest.......great to see recycled boys in Trops and Mckenna playing some good footy.....I wonder how many others are out there kicking the footy at 1140 in the morning looking for a chance to prove themselves......

Perth let themselves down in the first quarter, and fought back well. They had plenty of the ball in the second half and simply need to use the ball better.
Total Disposals/Goal in the first half is 26.29 and in the second half drops to 25.00. Disposals Inside50/ Scoring shot in the first half is 2.3 and in the second half 1.8.
10.3% of Disposals Inside50 for the first half and 14.8% in the second half.
Pace rate of 23.3% but increased to 28% in the second half.
Perth's total game ball possessions in the first half being only 48.6%, but increased to 51.4% in the second half.
And their turnovers were high in the first half of 17.3% but dropped significantly to 12%.
That was a winnable game for them but the first quarter is where the game was won for East Fremantle. Great to hear the excellent game commentary on abc radio.

Enjoyed watching the Channel 7 Coverage.
