After speaking to Scott Spalding at work today, there is no so called big name recruits heading Perth's way
Earl is trying to attract players in the 22 - 23 yrs old range
From either other WAFL clubs or ammos
Busher deffo wants out, Ali Smith has been contacted, no decision on if he will return.

From what I gather Teddy & Ali not interested.
SF trying to get Busher, interestingly Steve was there tonight.
Claremont didn't want to pay for him.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!

Didn't Claremont make a huge loss this year? Obviously they can't afford Bush and they couldn't offer a suitable player as a trade.

Geee thats not the news long suffering Dees supporters want to hear.

Dazzler,i guess that means the "gun midfielder" from interstate is a no goer!!

We made a profit, posters on here in the know have been saying for a while we are financial yet it looks like we are not going to recruit any 10 plus point players into the squad.
What WAFL club has a ready made genuine key forward that would come to Perth???
Josh Smith,no way!
What WAFL club has the type of player we need willing to shift clubs!!

This club is biding its time waiting till this current alignment is over and we will become the new host club.
Where we finish between now and then this current administration dont give a crap!

Just out of curiosity why does Busher want to leave??
Hasnt this club stood by him during these past 2 or 3 years where he has been injured most of the time,so why does he want out??

Yep feel a bit sorry for Earl if this is the case, seems like they looked after the previous coach a bit better with more recruits, great to make a profit but will supporters put up with finishing down the bottom yet again.

Ammos was always on the cards imo with the appointment of Earl,it wont work it hasnt in the past and it wont here.
These guys hang around for a few weeks and if they dont get regular games they piss off back to ammos.
Cheap option for the club and one they will probably take.

2015 will be another year where Demons fans will be left shaking there heads in disbelief at years end.

If this club has 30 plus points spare then they must go out and recruit players worthy of the high points and not spread it around on 2 point players that will languish in the ressies all year.

Can you blame any big name recruits for not wanting to come to the club. A quick google search shows that not a lot has happened over the last 37 years.

No I understand the club is still talking to him and another potential interstate recruit to come over but you'd have to think the longer it takes the less likely it is.

One less Morton to worry about so even more points available.

I dont think we have ever had a problem getting big name players or interstate players worthy of the high points to this club(im not going to name them all but there are plenty),i think the problem is we sit on our hands to long pondering what to do.
Look at Subi they win the premiership and within a month of it sign a player and there signings are not household names.
There are other clubs, look at South financially up to shit but that hasnt stopped them signing players.

We are the club of "excuses".
