A couple of posts here are typical of the mentality of this club that is always trying to turn shit into sugar. I've got no doubt that is why they appointed a bargain basement coach and whacked on another year just for the hell of it.

So, what you guys are saying.. correct me if I am wrong.... you would rather have your club owing hundreds of thousands of dollars rather than being in the responsible and stable financial position that it is in.
UNBELIEVABLE

So the club has not had onfield success for 35 years... that hurts all of us. But had it not been for the adoption of sound management principals at our club the WAFL could have been reverted to an 8 team comp long ago.

You put the club down at every turn, unrelentlessly, and still call yourselves supporters. You don't have to agree with everything but a little genuine credit, encouragement and gratitude OCCASIONALLY would not go astray.
Too easy to sit behind your computers and continually criticise. How many of you have ever got involved in some capacity at the club and tried to make a difference?

So you would rather be in SD's position?

I feel sorry for you guy's - Surely for a club to be united their supporter base must be as one ??? The club looks like it's trying to get it's act together in a tuff WAFL enviroment - All the best for the season - you'll need it if this banter between your supporters continues ???

I think what they are saying Smokey is that other WAFL teams have done it tough financially and still played finals and won flags.
West Perth at Joondy have had all sorts of money woes yet they have played finals and won flags under this pressure...ditto to for Swans as other supporters have pointed out and im sure Claremont earlier on were not that flushed with coin.

Lets ditch the excuses and get on with it..money problems or not we had a bloody good list in 2012 and finished 8th and there have been other lists in the last 14 years or so that have been worthy of playing finals but havent.

We have underachieved on-field for many seasons and most of that has had nothing to do with the bank balance.

I'm sure the author of this title thread got the response and reaction he/she was after.
