Probably the only out next week would be Wellburn. I will take it from everyone else that I Keast played well, though I guess given his apparent tag roll I can be forgiven for not noticing him that much. I think we will have to nurse Edmonds along. Very good so far but thin and young. I guess when Hodge back, Edmonds, Richardson and Manuel (yes I know he played a blinder yesterday but I haven't seen two good games in a row from him yet-hope I do) to rotate a bit.

Also South a bigger team than Claremont so Eyes back in a expense of someone. Looked to me like Moody hurt ribs which are always worse the next few days, reckon he might miss.

Therefore
Cale Morton for Moody.
Eyes for one of the smaller guys ?Hug or Edmonds
Kane or Billings (just for height against South Fremantle) for Wellburn. (or no change)
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

If Bateman is available, he will come in for somebody, maybe Hug.
Mitch Morton may play ressies again. He played a half yesterday I think.

Above and Beyond wrote: What positions do Mitch and Cale Morton fit into now after yesterday? Do you now use them in a more attacking role rather than defensive given the players who played yesterday? Changa as well? Hodge when fit steadies midfield and frees someone else up.
Ideas?

These guys need to be played to their strengths which should be in their disposal skills so I'd reckon you'll see them between the 50m arcs across half back or midfield hopefully driving the ball to the forwards. Mitch might spend some time up forward as well. I reckon the midfield needs strengthening so all those blokes are needed to rotate through there.

Incredible stats

Hey what is the overall result records of all matches since 1979 between the two clubs if you know ????

If it's 37 to 5 Lathlain Park - it's possibly the same at Claremont Oval ?????

Morton had 21 disposals in the reserves, Tim Hunt had 21, Sean Lynch had 25, Busher had 17 possessions 5 marks and Eyres had 38 hitouts. Good to see the new recruits and old ones finding form albeit in the two's.

Lynch was way off the pace for mine last week against EF. I didnt see much of the Ressies (last quater) Eyers in that time looked to have some form back. Back in the team I think. Which Morton are you talking about? Cale has played two League scratch matches and I thought he did ok. Were his disposals good and what position did he play. Is he underdone? We rushed the Bush back last year and he looked way out of his depth, no hurry there.

I tell you with those four you mentioned and Hunt and Billings and Borrett the way some of them have been talked up we should have done a lot better in the Ressies game.

Sorry to say again but I was amazed with the ticker shown by a lot of the players (who don't often show ticker) yesterday.

Can Manuel, and Florio keep that sort of performance up. I think they can but it must be demanded of them.

Like Dean White and O'Sullivan unlike a lot of posters who judge them on their first 30 games in a loosing Jarman team.

That was Mitch Morton TFAF.

And yes the ticker shown by everyone yesterday was exceptional. However they need to keep it going with a tough match against South Fremantle this Friday night.

Cale Morton and Chance Bateman did not play at all over the weekend. Are they injured? If not both could be a chance to come into the squad.

I would have Christian Eyres in the side for Friday nights game to help Leyendekkers who I thought had his best game for the club. Let's hope that he can continue this form.

Mitch Morton only played his first game for the club yesterday after having an interrupted preseason so one would think he might need a couple more games to get up to match fitness.

The way Bateman was limping on Saturday I would say its a pretty serious hammy possibly another three weeks on the side lines.
