It was a brave effort by the boys yesterday. At least they tried a few things for once with Reimers and Smith playing in defensive roles. Some terrible skill errors in the backline gifted Claremont some easy goals and that was probably the difference in the end.

Four losses to end the season so far and a real challenge again next week against an improving South who play the slingshot style of run and stun pretty well. You can talk up the improvement in the squad all you like but bottom line is we miss finals again...not good enough.

Very suprised Sketcher didn't get a game. I cant remember him putting a foot wrong all year. Also think Donnovan should be back in the league team.

As in the last 3 weeks we match it with anyone but just not for long enough.

Thought Leyendeckers and Houghton were very good yesterday.

Stack good but missed some easy ones I think 3.

McInnes the same as Stack.

Hated that goal from the bounce done at the goal square after Reimers went over the line on the Kick in.

I think this year is different to two years ago. I reckon we have something to build on.

Good seeing Geoff Newman there yesterday and a great idea from the club organising the Pyke Cup.

The club has progress this year no doubt.

Very much looking forward to this last one at Latho..should be a good one although its a dead rubber - south are on the up and looking to a strong finish to the year and going forward into 2014.
