Good to see Taj Stanley and Ali Al-Shuweli in the ressies. Talented youngsters.

Was a bit disappointed today though I should give credit to Swans, particularly their midfield who just worked harder with their ability to run and spread and constantly find a spare player. They seemed to have a better system.

Swans should have won by more but in the end we chased them on the points scale. Baxter Philip looks like a much improved player who has stuck his hand up the last 2 weeks for round 1 selection.

Michael Randall likes a bit of hang time and took a couple of screamers. The first one seemed to get unanimous applause right in front of the Swans members.

Jeb Donohue cut us to ribbons along with about 10 others. Connor Blakely looks very lean and fit and played well.

It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.

Asked one of the players on the sidelines he said Derksen has arrived but got a bit of knee soreness so they are letting him recover.

Good news is no injuries that I saw today. Hill has a fractured hand from training I think but not too serious. Tyrone Thorne continues to impress me. Very skillful player and good footy brain. His pass that found Stubbs was sublime. Would like to see Stoney use him more in the centre bounces. He did well there in the last intraclub.

I was there for most of the match, but talking too much to concentrate on the match.
We rely on Clarke a lot at FF. He had a good workout .
Wills competes and seems fast.
Stubbs and Q don't scrape enough and fall over too often. Stubss did kick two - but as DD said the pass he got was for one of them was sublime - If the pass to him is slightly off he has no ticker for it.
Johnston tells me he is back running in two for a possible 4 week return. Call it round 5 for a Ressies game Round 6 back in League. Week 7 is the bye so they might look at that too.

Very good win for the Ressies. Colts play today.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I think Stubbs may battle to get a game this year.
I may be wrong.
IMHO he has some talent but is lazy.
I'm not sure he is as fit as he should be and gets beaten in the contest.
Far too easily beaten and not enough defensive pressure.
Similarly with Q, just lazy, too easily beaten and no pressure.

Does someone know anything about the young bloke Sam Cameron, I know he came through Colts.
Seemed to miss last year. Injury?
Is he a prospect?
Kicked 5.3 in the Ressies yesterday.
maybe it's time to give him a go.

I hope Stone puts a premium on developing the youngsters.
I think there are some diamonds there maybe.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!
