Just wondering about Jake Watson's development in the 2s.
His numbers don't look too bad.
And also Michael Hall, I think he bagged 3 or 4 n the weekend.

When I googled Syndesmosis ankle injury it said it's usually a 6 - 8 recovery. Charlie is AFL fit so I expect his recovery time to be at the lower end. Still a massive blow which will test the character of those fit to play.

I hope Peter German shows the playing group vision of Charlie chasing an EP player on the outer wing limping badly after the injury before he came off the ground. Clearly in pain he refused to give up.

Yep we live in hope.
But, it will depend on whether he needs surgery.
We will find out today apparently.

One thing our injury curse has done is give some promising youngsters some opportunities.
Notably Scoble and Cachard.
Maybe a couple of others in the near future.

I remember early to mid-nineties, I think, we recruited a big forward (Campbell?), I think from Footscray.
Injured an Achilles I think, in his first game for us, I think it ended his career.
