Interesting to read that the PFC facebook side has different players listed to the AFL webpage. The AFL website has Hayward listed to play and McPartland as an emergency?  Several other differences as well but mainly position differences, which as we all know don't mean squat.

Glad to see Kasey Nicholas back in the side. He was probably best on ground for the first half of last year until they started moving his position around and honestly hasn't been the same since.  His endeavour and aggression is unquestionable and I hope he finds the form he had 12 months ago.

Tarkyn Brogan-Henry, is listed to get a game.

Considering how comprehensive we have been beaten through the middle of the ground 3 weeks in a row I'm surprised Quill hasn't been given an opportunity.

What’s happened to Jye Clark? Didn’t he get concussed late in the first game against WC? Not listed on the injury list but didn’t play last week and not listed in either team this week. I see Josh Smith is set to miss another 6 weeks with a hamstring on the other leg to the one he did last year. Another bad recruiting blunder it seems.

Josh Smith 12 points, 3 games in two years
Dalton Langlands 10 points, gone already and was underwhelming
Cameron Loersch 10 points zero games
Chris Masten 12 points, 3 year deal, broken thumb curtailed his first Covid (half season) then never got going last year and pulled the pin early.

Perhaps a lucky win but a win is a win, On the positive side, the run and intensity was there. On the negative side we gave up a 5 goal half-time lead again for the second week in a row. We have this silly penchant to stand too far off an opponent which allows the opposition to get a run on. We need more defensive pressure by playing closer to the man. We are not causing enough turnovers and our tackles count is too low..
McInness and Fisher had good games. If he had kicked more goals from all the marks he took, Fraser would have been BOG.
I liked Sam Stubbs solid effort today. He and Cary created opportunities because the main defenders were occupied with Fraser and Bush,
We can take it up to the opposition but we cannot afford to give away 5 goal starts. We must play with consistent effort for the whole 80 minutes of play.
Good to bank 4 points today.

That’s the spirit. A win’s a win. They were really well organised and led out there by Fraser and Bush. First team we’ve been competitive with in the air.

950 there according to The West. Try 450. And no Mr Whippy. Lift your game Peel.

A few takeaways from what I'm seeing on the livestream replay. It is by far our best game in terms of centre clearances. Ainsworth is a shit kick and that's a liability. McInnes's miss from a set shot 30 out on the 30 minute mark of the second qtr that would have given us a 33 point half time lead was unforgivable.

His marking though was superb. Stubbs and Cary are proving to be reliable goal kickers. DBW and Ajang continue to show improvement as a ruck duo although I was impressed with their ruckman Smith.

Best game I've seen from Aussie Davis. Well done boy keep it up.

As the commentator said many times, concerns about how we finish games. Very lucky to hold on in the end.

Someone at the Chunderdome needs to have a word with that foul mouthed dole bludging bogan constantly using the f-word clearly heard over the broadcast.

And we have to find a spot for Michael Bennell in the side. His ability to finish in front of goals is required.
