Steven Armstrong to take the reigns with Mossy unavailable due to Covid protocols. The first time a father, son and grandson has coached the same team in WAFL history. 

I've watched and listened to Army many times and I am super impressed with him. IMO he is a senior coach in waiting. A couple of coaches might be under the gun at the end of this season and they could worse than seriously consider Steven Armstrong. 

I wonder if EP might target Mossy at the end of the season opening the way for another Armstrong to take the reigns full-time at the Demons.

Onto the game we could have Cary, Avery and Josh Smith to come in though I think Smith could probably do with a run in the ressies and see how he pulls up. Hopefully Michael Bennell gets a run possibly in the reserves and makes his way into the league side before too long.

Mayne injured (6 Weeks). I believe Clark copped a knock last week also.
I am a bit surprised that Coniglio was dropped.

Probably unlucky because Avery is in.
Agree with you he is very unlucky.

Just thinking about our need for clearances.
Davis seems to get the ball a lot.
Wondering if he is worth a try as a clearance mid.
He has a booming kick.

According to the West, Avery was out due to COVID protocols and Jye Clark is out with a hamstring injury

"Other than a couple of reserves players and coach Moss, Perth are in a good space with COVID cases at this stage after copping a fair amount during the pre-season."

This possibly explains why Giblett, J Busher, Perkusich and others missed the scratch matches and are only now coming back through the ressies.  

This is like watching a league team play a reserves team. Talk about miles off. We deadset won’t beat anyone but west coast. Our tackling is laughable. They get a release handball every single time yet we get buried every single time. So much hope and down the tube it goes. Our midfield is non existent. The centre clearances is like it’s 5 on 1. Another long season coming up
