Smokey who cares? People need to get over this alignment word. I don't care what it's called.

What do you think happens to players drafted/signed by NBA teams and in the big European football teams? Do they have a reserves team? No, they farm them out to lower leagues for the players to develop and stay fit and get game time. But in good old little old Perth it's a sin to accept an arrangement with an AFL club to accommodate a few of their players. 

It's nonsense and we need to get over it.

Well iv'e been looking ahead towards the 2022 season DD, and i'm quite disturbed at how it looks like shaping up,particularly with the disbanding of the Eagles reserve side.If the home grown players return to their clubs of origin,your and my club will be behind the eightball straight away,and someone like the Joondalup Falcons,who have already touted Hutchings,Meadows and Johnson as 2022 recruits,will more than likely have Rotham and West available for the greater part of next season,so i don't see the sense of being a stupid MARTYR.

Got no issues with Perth "arranging" up with WCE by having full access to WCE available  E.S boys on match day....they have to go somewhere......go for it.....but if it comes with a load of other perks, then forgive folk for thinking it's no different to that previous WCEP alignment.......

Like I have always said majority of us wouldn't blink an eyelid if our WAFL club had had Subi's success....we would believe it was down to good off field management and on field recruiting by the club....like Subi boys believe.......
ditto for EP and their hat trick of flags...nothing to do with WCE at all....bar 2000 maybe.......we see what we want to see and spin it accordingly.....go for it Perth....desperate times require desperate measures......

DD can you be absolutely certain that Nisbett and the Eagles wont start to dictate about where their allocated Eagles players are playing, where and when games are played i.e. 11am in the morning.

Do you trust Nisbett and co to do the right thing?

Only a crazy man would trust Nisbett.

 

Heard a rumour 30+ may have been on the money.
He was correct with Mayne.
Have heard a rumour we may be close to an ex AFL midfielder.
Will cost us points but we have plenty to play with.
Could be very handy at WAFL level if he is committed.
