Being positive is about all you can do as a Demons supporter.

What would be really positive is to book another finals berth in 2021.

I can stay positive as long as the club builds on its 2020 season and doesn’t sit on its hands like it has following previous bright seasons.
Replace what we lose and fill voids that cost us progressing further in the finals,top 2 should be the aim.
Yes getting our midfield back is a start but it shouldn’t stop there.

I agree that we must stay positive as we start to work into the off season with expectations of nothing less than another finals campaign in 2021.
We must not let ourselves get carried away with what we achieved this year because that was only the tip of the iceberg. We still have much bigger fish to fry.
Season 2020 was less than a third of a normal season. Sure we made the finals but we were not tested in qualifying in a longer format which hopefully we will get next season.
We must address our weaknesses. Sure we will get our midfield back, hopefully fully fit to start next season but we still need to improve our playing stocks overall if we expect to be playing in September 2021.
Some of that improvement will come from within but some will be required from outside sources.
I believe that we have the capacity within our points cap to achieve that barring any adverse changes/reductions that may be imposed upon us.

Priority number 1 = gorilla minder

I hope the football department aren’t just thinking when we get Yeo Masto and Burner back we’ll be right. Who’s to say there’s not a reoccurrence of these injuries or others get injured. It’s a given.

Our biggest problem is our lack of quality depth which is highlighted by our poor showing most years in our colts and reserves. You only had to look at the quality of Subiaco, Claremont and WP this year in the colts to see there is daylight between us and them.

Moss needs to be the boss of the whole football department and set the standards across all 3 grades. I can’t see us gaining better quality through the ranks unless there are zone changes.

All zones need to be looked at. Perth must get another club close by. Applecross - just over canning Hwy. And CanningVale come to my mind. How can the WAFC accept their salaries when Claremont Colts have been in the Finals for 25 years straight. Get Dynamic, adjust regularly. 7 year reassessments are a must.

FYI guys the Claremont Colts have barely missed the finals since the mid 1970s...that is actually 45 years of near dominance!

Just had a look at a map. Perth should have Applecross, Willetton and Riverton. Now - not in 5 years.

This should happen in 2021 at the same time as other major shakeups.
