Wasn't Cody the offending player who missed Perth's last shot on goal in that last minute Peel loss?....if so, the fella tried to do the honourable thing and leave Perth, but you guys wouldn't allow it....can't see why Earl should or would of been allowed to hand in his notice TBH....Cody tried and failed miserably....perhaps Earl didn't want the same hassle.

STT...Lachie Dennis actually came from EF mate, not the Perth development system....just goes to show EF junior district isn't as good as folk like to think...

Thought LD was an Attadale boy, who was selected in the state 16s(09) and 18s(12) representing the EFFC, played colts for EF, got a bad injury and had an enforced hiatus from the game, before turning up at Perth STT. Are you talking about where he played during his injury hiatus mate?...was it for a club in the Perth zone?...apologies for the misconception ....

Interesting reading the various opinions on this topic, so here is mine. I'm on the fence with Earl's tenure. The first year I thought he was doing exactly what we needed. Playing young up and coming players and I thought we looked great. Byrna, Burke, Levien, Flash Gordan, Burke, Roe, Scotney, Leggett, Johnson and of coarse Zac Fisher all getting games and definitively something good to build on. Year 2 we lose nearly all of them because of travel, AFL and injury. Year 3 and we simply don't have the cattle. This year I thought was going to be a good year, some of those younger guys that are still around have developed and now have a bit of experience.... I think Earl did what he could with what he had but I want to know why Gordy lost interest, why Leggett wanted to move on, and where is Scotney and Levien etc. Did they leave because of Earl or some other reason?
