Ok lets get some chat going on this cracker of a game and in turn hopefully get some numbers to our messy shambled ground!

I am really looking forward to this one and I know the players are. I hope the Demons are every bit the side I have heard they are and we get an absolute belter.

So far the D's have:

Beaten Peel by 12pts
Beaten SF by 13pts
Beaten SD by 2pts
Lost to EF by 2pts
Beaten EP by 51pts

So they could have been 6-0 like the Tigers. This will be a BIG challenge for them one I am sure they are bursting at the seams to get in to.

We will have to watch Paul Bevan and Simon Tunbridge who both kicked 4 last week but I reckon the D's have an even spread. Last week most players had possessions in the high teens.

With the Tigers you always get one or two players in the high 20's like Murphy or Browne or Foster or Schammer.

Anyway - BRING IT ON!!

They have also got a couple of good big blokes in Eyres and Murray who may provide a challenge to Seaby and Andrews who have been taking all before them so far. Should be a great contest, I would still lean towards the Tiges on their home patch

Hoping that we can keep playing the way we have been in having a crack and playing with confidence. The Tigers have been then benchmark for the last three seasons and as you say have plenty of people that can pick up the slack if one or two others are being well held. No disrespect to the other teams we have played so far this season but the Tigers are our biggest test yet. Hoping for a cracking game and we get more than 2000 to the ground :)

Yes mostly Perth supporters!!

It's interesting that Tigerific has picked this point up. The work, load is evenly spread across the team. We have no super stars that get 40 disposals every game, everybody does their job. But a lot of players getting high teens and mid twenties.

Interesting to also note that EP got more hit outs than us with Johnson & Lycette getting more of them than us. Surprise, not to me our best player this year for hitouts is Christian Eyres.

If Murray & Eyres get a fair share, then I think our midfield can continue to get a fair share of the clearances.

I cannot believe that Ali Smith is not in the state squad, his clearance work has been superb.

Our football has been very intense and if we can maintain it for 4 quarters we will trouble Claremont.

Still the benchmark but we have run them close when we have been ordinary.

I can't wait to see where we are at.
It's not the size of the dog in the fight. It's the size of the fight in the dog.
Winning isn't everything. It's the ONLY THING !!!!!!
I shot the fukin sherriff!!!!

I will unashamably ask 15 and 3-4 of these will turn up.

Perth to strive to be the best traveled supporters.

Claremont Tigers to have a model of what the oval will be like and the benefits of being part of the Tigers. This displayed at the ground and in every western suburbs letterbox.

Bloody big and Flash sigh on Stirling Hyw letting everyone know the great game is on and extolling the significance of the 130 years of WAFL.
Victorians still laugh at West Aussies because of the way we bailed out the vfl and then allowed it to be called it the AFL!

I think we last won at Claremont in 2011 when youngy and not had a day out! Hopefully bevo, smith and co can do the same!
Alot been said about Selby this year. I think eyres and Murray will provide his first big test for the year.
I think webby will be talking the Dees up as a danger side so be prepared for Claremont to come out strong!

Can't believe I am looking forward to a Perth v Claremont clash :P

Goes back to what I always have said - West Coast Eagles ruined it for us more than any other WAFL side I reckon. If you asked all WC supporters if they use to follow a WAFL side and did you go to games I reckon there would be a hell of a lot who would say Claremont.

Around the oval - forget it. It's been marketed to a thousand times. They are either too old or too wealthy.

But anyway - stick to the topic at hand!!

I am eagerly awaiting our team line up for this one. Was surprising to see Silvagni back so soon so I think the side will go in unchanged. Jake Murphy could win a Sandover the way he is going. I reckon he would have polled votes in at least 4 of the 6 games played. He is a ball magnet and has had the following possesions:

Vs SF - 28
Vs SD - 19
Vs EP - 16
Vs Sub - 29
Vs WP 28
Vs Peel - 28

He is in his prime, in his 5th year of footy. He is under-rated and most coaches never tag him. He has a massive tank and would be one of the fittest at the club

Problem is if you tag him you then need to negate Browne, Richardson, Medhurst and Jones. That's where we have had it over sides in recent years, too many players to try and nullify.

This year you add Seaby into the mix and it's even better.

Beatable? yes of course like any side is. Perth needs to:

- Get off to a good start
- Play four quarters
- Kick Straight
- Pressure pressure pressure especially inside their own 50
- Zone off in case of turn overs
- Tag Murphy, Browne and Foster
- Keep Medhurst Jones and Richardson down to 1 or 2 goals each
- Win the ruck

Fairly tall order!

Last week he had
