What a belter of a game, we threw the kitchen sink at them. I walked away pretty proud of the boys but devastated not to get the four points, it would have been an eight point game for us really. The remainder of the season is where Subi could be vulnerable, they haven't got much to play for until September arrives.
Also good to hear that the club will be taking control of the bar again soon, that should mean cheaper drinks.

TT....pretty sure 9th spot is done and dusted mate....EF have secured that 9th possie well n truly mate...but 4-8 is a tight battle....in a season which a lot of folk have REPEATEDLY said has been pretty boring....FMD....

Correct Freezin, a lot of people have said the season has been boring and that is because from very early in the season it has been blatantly obvious to most WAFL supporters that there was only one team that could actually win the flag and that is the team with a % of 214 after 14 games. Yes the battle for 4th and 5th is creating some interest however in the big picture it is ultimately irrelevant. The only factor that has saved the season from being a complete drudge is the resurgence of the Demons and I am hoping they snag one of the two remaining spots in the finals

Poor maths on my part Freezin…1st and 9th spots locked in but still lots of interest in how the other spots finish, particularly 4th and 5th.

Yes my hope is also that the DEES make it, it has been a long time since we were in 4th position this late in the season.
Maybe a year or 2 early for the DEES.
My fear in making it to the 4 is that we go out embarrassingly in the first week.
Although I think the kids will have a go as they have shown all year.
We are still a player or 2 short of a good top 4 side.
What is needed is for us to recruit wisely for next year and not sit on our laurels.
But go the mighty DEES.

Sometimes it's about the journey not the destination mikeh.....let's just enjoy the journey of the fight for 4th-5th spot and the possibility of, for the first time in ages, a final series with no aligned influence......yeah Subi may have dibs on the destination.....but as you well know sometimes the destination ain't what you expect it to be......pity us EF and SD fans had their journey terminated a tad too early....well definitely the EF fans that is for sure!!

Do Claremont have any major injuries? or players suspended for this weeks game?
