I have warned the Tigers about the pro-Victorian thing in the past, too easy to split the club. Subi, as I said, on another post, has half dealt with the problem since the mid 80s. Even Neesham, had to play for Sydney, according to the 'monts'. It is amazing how the board keeps conning the navy blue and gold members on this Victorian gene.

it only becomes a problem when the ratio gets too high and locals have to move to another club - remember not that many hang around for an entire career in WA mate
I've always liked to see experience added to a rebuild though and that's where it's hard

Southerner: if Prescott fixes it, he is not the problem; but, he and Povey need to acknowledge one exists. In reverse, do we really think that the Geelong lads kicked the ball properly to Brian Peake?Silly buggers possibly cost themselves a flag, too. How is it Geelong's team bus failed to pick up Garry Sidebottom during the 1982 finals? Where was he from again?

Surely given the precedent set with how Harris was treated, Prescott must be shown the door!

Since their last flag in 2012, Claremont have played 7 finals series for 7 wins and 12 losses including 2 grand final losses.

the late Garry Sidebottom was from Swan Districts - a famous family name in Swan Districts that still has many different branches including the McDonald clan
He played in Victoria for three clubs - Geelong , St Kilda & Fitzroy

Yes, Southie, it would have been hard to stay with Geelong after what happened, ordinarily players do not move from top clubs to lowly clubs unless there is a reason; mikeh, it is a bit Collingwoodish; SS: Neesham made it work, albeit with a lot of talent and recruiting. Not so the others from Peter Pianto to now.

Neesham "had to play for Sydney according to the Monts".  What the hell are you talking about?
and what's this Victorian stuff you're talking about? We are the most"non victorian" club of all WAFL clubs, we recruit not many Victorians and aside from Bolton they are usually failures. We have had recent WA born and bred premiership coaches in Moss, Neesham, Panizza, and Mcphee.

Can tell you Tiger my friend, The Monts have a lot of money in the bank, I mean a lot of money. An income stream that is huge.
