TOO Collingwood actually copied Swans jumper of late as we have always had the Black & White Stripes on the front with a full Black back & White number (apart from a brief period in the 1970s) whilst Collingwood had always had the Black & White stripes front and back of their guernsey with a Black number until recently in the last 20 years where they have moved to the same as us with a Black back & White number on their jumpers.

SFFC jumper also has a familiar look about it.

Only referring to that monogram mate and to be fair we had a Big V back in the late 90's that I despised - absolutely hated that jumper it was a horrible effort
still believe that 1964 to 1975 jumper of yours was good it was unique

Hey guys .. would love thoughts of Claremont fans here. I am a Glenelg fan and have followed Claremont since I was a kid. Why do they keep changing their guernsey?
Glenelg hasn't changed their since 1960s. Collingwood, Essendon etc wouldn't change it for anything. I just reckon it's part of the strength and tradition of a club and changing it so often waters that down a tad. I get marketing reasons etc but that doesn't stop the above selling jumpers. Always loved the sash and quite like the monogram in the sash. Just reckon they need to settle on something. And lose those white numbers! Gold please. Cheers.

And I agree with you for what its worth on the footy jumper tradition.
Why did Claremont get rid of the gold sash on their back as well? They had it for their formidable 1981 side.
Especially when they SD who have an all black back with a white number they can look remarkably similar and it can get very confusing for the spectators!
