Hammersley and Ridge played a scratch match yesterday - both clubs we're missing a chunk of top end talent, and HC a bit short in the twos.

Ridge won both games reasonably comfortably, 5-6 goals in each

Tough to gauge what HamC had missing but pleasing results considering the 2018 gulf and the Onions Ins still to return... Visting teams making their way up to see my brother Heath will need to have some decent structures implemented with the new rules bound to cause havoc on such a big ground

Went down to watch the Melville rams play on sunday and will do this Saturday as well. Good signs ahead for this talented side. No big full forward is a bit of a worry but players have stepped up. Most teams will probably struggle to perform with the new rules on this auskick oval.

A few tipsters here very correct with predictions a few of us well off!
Massive effort by Bullcreek this year- they have had a great year after being in the relegation zone for the past few years in this comp.
Will they have what it takes to stay up in B grade?
I think they do- but would need to increase their scoring capacity.

Bassendean on the up the past few years and they got the reward for their efforts two weekends ago. Are they a B grade club though? Time will tell I guess. Hopefully their juniors are decent enough to cope with colts footy and they can add some bigger bodies as they were fairly small this year.

Looking back, I underestimated Bull Creek, Thornlie and Melville and overestimated Warnbro.

I think Bassendean will be OK in B Grade - not so sure about Bull Creek, though with a couple of notable exceptions, B Grade appeared pretty weak this year

If rumours be true, on the way down come probably only Willetton. Perhaps a bit of rebuilding for them and a mid-pack finish.

Up come Canning Vale and Quinns and I suspect both will go OK. If rumours be true, perhaps a rapidly developing Kwinana coming up too?

Of those who stay, Thornlie likely to be pre-season flag favourites, but I don't discount Melville (particularly) and Gosnells as contenders also.

Don’t forget Kalamunda coming down who will top two in C1 by my estimations.

What rumours are you hearing Birdman?

Maddington to request to come down?
Or something else?

If what I'm hearing is correct, Kalamunda may not come down.

However, if they do, none of their teams exactly set the house of fire this year and it would appear they have a lot of re-building to do.

With the points system, this is likely to be a long, slow process as the days of just going out and buying success are over - plenty of others in the same boat!!!

I suspect they would be mid-field at best.

It seems it takes a Birdman for the rumours to start flying in the offseason..
Not sure how you think Kalamunda would not come down?? Only way it could work would be if one of the two GF sides didnt go up to B's in 2020 - and that's laughable.
Actually no, there is another way but whoever decided on an 11 team B grade comp would have some serious explaining to do.

Oh Glen Ridge, your imagination can do better than that! Imagine a scenario where another B Grade team requests to drop to C Grade, for example because they will struggle to field a Colts team...
