Hard yards are done and time for the big boys to go out and play for a little bit of premiership glory!

Brentwood - Enjoy the week off, a perfect first 15 rounds before a shaky finish to the year. Now everyone knows they're beatable it won't be frightening for anyone to take them on.

QUALIFYING FINALS (Queens Park Reserve)

SNESA Vs Piara Waters - Going to be hard to tip against SNESA here. They've just upset Brentwood and their last loss was against Piara in round 14. That day they kicked themselves out of the game with 13 points which was the total shots on goal for Piara. Everyone will come out to play and the 2 AFL boys won't let their team lose this one. SNESA by about 5 goals for me.

Piara Waters Vs Coolbinia - This will depend on how many league boys are qualified for Cooly. Piara might lose a couple to the top side which always hurts in finals. Coolbinia won the last encounter by a couple goals and I'm tipping them here by about 3 goals.

Colts are on a bye due to a top 4

ELIMINATION FINAL - (Ridgewood Park)

Brentwood with the double minor premiership is excellent work after coming up a grade! I reckon the boys will be at Queens Park to see who they play

Quinns Vs Mosman Park - This will be the last game for one of these teams. Mosman have finished the season a little up and down with 3 wins and 2 losses in the last 5 but one of those wins was against Quinns in the mud. Quinns didn't touch the footy until after quarter time that day. Quinns last 5 are all losses which isn't the way to go in to finals. Injuries, covid, flat, who knows but they will come to play this weekend and try and turn their form around. The very vocal quinns crowd will lift their team but I'm going Mozzie by 8 points in an absolute ripper!

SNESA Vs Quinns - SNESA are going to be hard done by here and have to split their crowd between league and reserves. They just beat quinns by 10 goals on the weekend but this game will be on the huge open expanses of Ridgewood Park and the Quinns boys will lift a few notches. If SNESA take this game too lightly they'll lose but I think they'll get it done by about 5 goals.

SNESA seem to be finding some really good form late in the season and have even managed the last few wins without Masto…Piara have a good engine room but I don’t think it’ll be enough against. SNESA by 6 goals with

QF reserves
Piara ressies get to follow their 1s side so will have a good amount of support there… Coolbinia no doubt managed to get a few 1s players down in the back end of the year and will knock piara off by 2 goals

EF League
The Mozzies scrape in thanks to some Swan Valley magic! Quinn’s are not in good form but have a few teams at home this week and will have a massive crowd! I think the crowd will get them over the line and keep their season alive

EF reserves
A replay of the game just gone, and SNESA pants Quinn’s… I wonder if Quinn’s President was umpiring… a 6 goal better side when he does! SNESA to upset Quinn’s 2s season by 4 goals

it should be noted those clubs with good colts can play them up this week. Coolbinia have a few who have played some league games, Mozzie have a few rippers and Quinns finished on top so you'd think they have a bit of quality available to use.

Thanks viper for getting the finals up and running (you must be as excited as I am).Your boys did an outstanding effort last week keeping Gossy to there lowest score for the year! Mossy Park also owe you a beer or two for that win, as there win helped them claim 5th spot. Piara with a solid 10 goal win over Kwinana. Snesa had a good win over Quinn’s and now have a lot of confidence going into finals. Brentwood got some momentum back and sent warnbro on there way to c3 as well as we say goodbye to Coolbinia. I do like your thinking of playing colts this week as they have a bye.... although this is finals footy and things normally get stepped up a little, id hate to see some young bloke get injured and miss the rest of his finals campaign.

 Snesa and Piara Both had one win each during the year, it will be interesting to see if Snesa get there AFL players available. (Maybe not Masto as the Eagles are away). Piara coached very well and have the talent although I think Snesa just have that little more polish with skills and will hold the ball more at there pace if Piara comes out too fast. Snesa by 7 points 

 Another game with both teams having a win each during the season, it’s going to be full on up at the bull ring with everyone cramped under that 2x2 patio it sure does have a great atmosphere for footy. Mossy need to turn up and not get sucked in, they can play decent footy and have proved it throughout the season. Mossy by 2 points  

 In the ressies, an even spread across the top 3 in my opinion, only separated by percentage! Piara are lucky enough to play before there league so I’d imagine will have support down there, while like you said viper it will be interesting to see come Saturday how many league guys qualified in the twos. Piara by 3 goals 

 Snesa and Quinn’s I think will be a lot different than last week, Quinn’s got the job done last time at there home deck and I think it will be a similar situation but a little closer. Quinn’s by 9 points

Qualifying finals
Snesa vs Piara - If snesa have there full team and afl players this week they should get the job done here. they have been inconsistent this year but haven't had there full team available so will be intresting who they name tomorrow. Piara have moved very fast up the league as a club winning 2 premierships in a row and now 3rd is a oustanding effort. They will put up a fight but snesa just to much talent - snesa by 3 goals

Piara vs Coolbinia - coolbinia getting the job done last time they met 2 weeks ago but some inaccuracy cost piara. should be a great contest but without coolbinias league in finals they can play all qualified players in reserves and piara have to play 2nd best 22. I'm tipping Coolbinia by a goal

Elimination finals
Quinns vs Mosman - Quinns defenitly out of form at the moment and mosman will see this as a bonus game after not expecting to make finals. if they shut out the crownd and play the best brand of footy we have seen on occasions they will get up over Quinns. Mosman by 2 goals

Snesa vs Quinns - depending on who snesa league have available the reserves might get a good team here and if they do will be more ugly than last week. lets hope quinns can put a fight and make a game of it. Snesa by 6 goals
 

Not being in finals always sux but I still follow to see who wins etc.

I was messaging the Mossie prez how we were travelling. He's never been so supportive of us winning a game LoL.

When I was bench coach many years ago we made the mistake of picking experience over 2 young colts and we didn't have the run across the ground and it cost us. If it was me I'd be playing the colts for the league team.

Mozzies definitely owe you one I think Viper, do you think they can make an impact in the finals?

yeah definitely. I watched them in the wet against Quinns and they were super impressive. We obviously beat them the week after but only by 3 points. That was probably our strongest team all year.

I don't think Mossies will make the big dance but they'll scare a few and possibly make a pre-lim.

For mine you can't go past BB and SNESA with all players. The big question is whether SNESA have all their players.

SNESA made short work of Piara and did it without Masto ... he should be back in this week to play the doggies.

Mozzies with a 3 goal win over Quinns ends Quinns season. Pretty sure they were 11-1 at one stage and lost their last 5 games so not sure what happened out there.

Coolbinia beat Piara in the 2's to make it a double loss for the Piara lads. That will definitely hurt but they earnt their double chance so get a chance for redemption this week.

SNESA demolished the Quinns reserves to end their season. They'll get a chance at Piara this week.

Was a good weekend of footy!

I was at the Mosman Park game, they're an interesting team.

When they put their foot down they look veyr hard to touch, then lapses in concentration for 10min.

I see SNESA had masten back, wonder if he will play out the year now.
Bit early but my tips for next week:
