With 2 games remaining Noranda look to be the red hot favourites going into the Finals series.  They play a fast moving team brand of football with some good key forwards to do the the scoring. They have had only one loss so far this season and will be full of confidence going into the finals.
North Beach have a very even well disciplined team who play a well structured brand of football but maybe don’t have the X Factor footballers that can find another gear in finals . Fortestdale definitely have the X Factor players who can turn it on in the finals and look to be Norandas big threat in the finals. South Fremantle 2020 premiership player Cody Ninyette has X Factor all over him and he will help Forrestdale go along way in the finals.
4th and 5th spot is very even with 4 teams battling it out for the vacant spots.
North Freos upset win over Forrestdale has them as likely 4 Place getters while Nollamara are coming home hard and with the easiest draw should sneak into 5th over Christian Brothers Colledge and Trinity.
If Nolla make they will give the finals a big shake up as they have the ability to go all the way and can beat anyone on their day.

Noranda held on to beat second placed North Beach by 3 points to confirm their top spot and win the minor premiership.
Nollamara have booked their spot in the finals with a good win over Osbourne Park. Osbourne Park have been very disappointing this year mainly because they lost the use of their home ground Robinson Reserve because of renovations and having to play at the sub standard Grenville Reserve has not suited their style of play and also caused a lot of injuries to key players because of the poor surface.
Armadale benefited from their colts having a bye and fielded a team mostly made up of their colts . They almost caused an upset against Trinity going down by a goal, The narrow loss has hurt Trinity’s percentage and looks to have cost them their spot in the finals.
Fortestdale ended Unis finals with 90 point victory while North Freo have also ended the Christian Brothers finals hopes with 2goal vict.

Armadale played virtually their whole colts team in the League so it was a great effort by a colts team to almost beat a team in the top 5. Trinity Aquinas won't be a happy as the Colts team may have cost them a spot in the finals as their percentage has them now now outside the 5

Nollamara will give the comp a big shake in the finals. At their best they are the best team in C4. No one will want to play them in the finals. They have bounced back well this season as the could hardly field 1 team at the start of the year.

Nollamara at their best will trouble everyone for sure but that is always the problem. They are very hot and cold. They should get a confidence boost boost whoever they play play in the first Elimination final. More than likely North Fremantle. Can’t see either The Christian   Brothers or Trinity making the finals. North Fremantle will only be making up the numbers in the finals.

big call from Bolter on Nolla being the best team in C4, given Noranda have only given up 1 lose this year. pretty clear to see who the best team in C4 is and the team to beat.

Will it be a 2 up and 2 down promotion/relegation system between C4 and C5 for next season?

I’d say it’s a 3 horse race between Noranda, North Beach and Forrestdalez

Noranda definitely have the best top-end talent in the grade, but NB and Forrestdale have far greater depth.
A couple of injuries to the Hawks could make things interesting.

at any rate, I’ll still tip them to take it out going on form this year.
Both NB and Forrestdale will have no trouble holding their own in C3.

Looks as though we’ll be gaining Kenwick and Cottesloe from C3 next year, as well as 2 from c5. Maddington, Cooby, Wanneroo and Wesley Curtin all look to be pushing for promotion.

wonder if we’ll see Bayswater, Rossmoyne, Manning or DM return to the 2 team comp next year?

Forrey vs North Beach will be an interesting one this week, given they match up again a week later in first week of finals

will be interesting to see how the grading works in the off season

Not sure Noranda held on to win against North Beach given that North Beach hit the lead with a goal very late, with only 30 seconds to go the central umpire sprinted the ball back to the middle (odd to say the least given it’s the boundary umpires role) then the same umpire paid a free kick and then a 50m penalty to Noranda, giving them a shot at goal from 30m out to win the match.
