Piara Waters have firmed in favouritism for the flag with a thumping 15 goal win over Rossmoyne who look to be imposters.
Forrestdale remain Piara Waters main opposition after a 22 goal victory over North Beach. The beach scrambled a side together with a few colts and double ups made up the numbers.
Manning have announced that they will trouble some teams and are improving each week with a very young team. They were unlucky to go down to Noranda a.
Osbourne Park ate improving every week under their new coach and will worry teams in the last few games. They were very unlucky to go down by a point to Bayswater.

This Week
Fortestdale V Piara Waters
The Rabid Forward pocket bar will be overflowing this Saturday as the top 2 unbeaten teams will play of the Falcon Derby. Both clubs have been in top form and this game will decide who is favourites for the flag. Master coach Micheal Florio will have his team ready and will need to stop form Forrestdale players Reece Miller , Mathew Brough and Micheal Millington. Piaras midfield will get first use from their towering tuck combination and should get up by 3 goals.

Noranda V Bayswater
This game will be crucial to both clubs chances at making the finals. Both clubs had narrow wins to lower teams on Saturday. It is at Bayswater but Bayswater very rarely win at home as the short oval doesn’t suit them. Noranda have had their problems but should get up by a couple of goals here.

Manning V Roleystone
The Rippers are improving each week and take on Roleustone at home and I am tipping Manning to take it right up to the Tigers and get a narrow win.

Rossmoyne V Osbourne Park
Rhinos will be back at home and should be to good for the improving Parkers.

My tips for this week.

Forrestdale to win the battle of The Falcon. It will be a ripping contest and a real derby between neighbors.

Bayswater will get up over Noranda in another Derby game between neighbours.

Roleystone will get up over Manning though Manning have improved

Ossy Park will give Rossy a scare but will go down by 5 goals

The local falcon derby couldn’t get any exciting than this, both teams undefeated and at the end of the day only one winner can walk away (unless it’s a draw) Forrestdale have some really good small mids that like to get in and under, while Piara have a good mixture of tall and small around the ground. If it does rain on Saturday it could make things slightly interesting. Forrestdale with the home ground advantage but I think Piara have a touch more class.
Piara by 3 goals

Bayswater got up in a thrilling win last week and have shown they can match it with the best. If they put together a solid four quarter effort they will give noranda a good run for there money. Noranda will focus on qualifying there league boys in the twos but still get up.
Noranda by 4 points

Roleystone at home against manning by 10 points but I wouldn’t be surprised if manning win.

Rossy to bounce back after a reality check last week and give ossy Park a good belting by 10 goals

Good luck everyone this weekend

Just curious who was coaching O.P before the changes happened? Who's the coach now?

Bayswater 6th vs Noranda 5th
Bayswater will be up and about not having a strong reserves side there will be only one match too watch there league side has put up good results so far. Noranda have been putting lower teams away but haven’t challenged anyone with a strong league team. 50/50 here noranda to just scrap in 1 goal

Manning 7th vs Roleystone 3rd
Manning have been quite unlucky this year with a few close matches not going there way lately, Something might be building here. Roleystone had a bye and will be fresh looking to maintain a top 4 position here. Manning to take it too them til the end but Roley to get up 3 goals

Rossmoyne 4th vs Osborne Park 8th
Maybe Rossy aren’t what everyone thinks they are, they struggled to score against Piara, they will have put that behind them and put a big effort in here if they drop this one they could struggle to make the finals. OP have been a total different team since the coach change they will give Rossy a scare and similar oval sizes no team will be favoured. Too much on the line for Rossy they’ll get up by 4 goals

Forrestdale 2nd vs Piara Waters 1st
The game we have all been waiting for is finally here the local Falcons derby. Forrestdale have transformed this year not many people picked them to be 5-0 and top contenders but having the Premiership colts come up and a few handy additions there flying. Piara are a formidable team only having lost one quarter of footy this year, with even spread of class across the ground and move the ball end to end seamlessly. The home ground advantage will have Forrestdale up and about with both teams reserve & league in finals the whole day will be a cracker. It will come down to the wire but I feel the wiser team will get up here Piara 2 goals

Great to see so much chat about C4.

Bayswater vs Noranda - I'm not sure what is going on down at Noranda if players are unhappy playing league or they are just having a crack at a ressies flag? Bayswater have shown they can play decent footy and this will be a worry for Noranda but i still think noranda will be to strong by 4 goals

Manning vs Roleystone - Danger game here for Roley. Manning have showed some inconsistancey with there results and if they are up and firing in front of there home crowd they could really test Roley. I think it will be a tight game in the first half and then Roley will start to kick away and win by 5 goals.

Rossmoyne vs Osborne Park - It was a bit of a wake up call for Rossmoyne last week but they did have a few changes and struggled to fill there ressies side. I'm not sure if they get any of there players back this week so this game could be interesting. Osborne Park seem to have improved over the last few weeks and will give Rossy a run for there money but I'll still tip Rossy by 3 goals.

Forrestdale vs Piara Waters - Obviously match of the round and the winner to most likely get 1st on the ladder and a home final. Have seen both of these teams play this year and Forrestdale have a completely different team and go really hard at the footy whioch will suit them this weekend in the wet weather. Piara are very well drilled and seem to be very tactical. They move the ball really well and fast across the ground. This will be a close game and I'm goin to tip forrstdale by 1 goal because of the home ground advantage and wet conditions

G'day Everyone, Great to read that Bayswater are competitive this year as they have struggled over the last few seasons. Is Rushy still at the Club? Top bloke!

I heard from a reliable source that the Piara Waters coach you mentioned will not be there next year as the club is struggling financially

Heard quite a few clubs are struggling financially. Don't know how a club with 5 teams on top or near the top of the ladder could be struggling financially. Surely they would be booming. I have heard a few clubs with brand new facilities like Piara are struggling because of the new facilities because there are a lot of restrictions on there use and because they lack atmosphere. Piara Waters new facilities look fantastic on the outside back have a real community centre feel about them and severely lack the atmosphere of a real football clubrooms.
