Very interesting 1st Round but sorted a few out especially the two favourites Piara and Noranda and this week we get to see who can stamp themselves as firm favourite for the flag,

Piara vs Noranda
With Piara up and about and able to score so heavily they will be hard to stop and not knowing how bad Osborne Park were is the question ,Noranda also will be confident after possiably playing a better opposition so its going down to the wire i think
Piara by 10 points

Roleystone vs North Beach
Roleystone to win by 5 goals

Forrestdale vs Manning
Once again its hard to see if Manning have improved or Rossmoyne had a good team in and forestdale beat a potential finalist at there ground so
Forrestdale by 4 goals

Rossmoyne vs Bayswater
I know Rossmoyne have some type 2 permits on there list 4 last week so will be interesting they didnt beat manning by much so i think this week will tell us either way are Rossy a threat to the top 2 i think NOT ,Interestingly heard nothing on the baysie boys although they did beat basso 3rds in a scratchie so they would have improved no doubt it ,as much as i hope baysie have improved Rossmoyne at home first up could be tough

Piara v Noranda
This one will be a fantastic game between 2 teams who will definitely be there in 10 weeks time. I’ll go with Piara purely based on the players they have at there disposal. The reserves game should be a cracker too

Roley v north beach
Will be closer than we expect, due to the fact that roley won’t do well on a 2 hour round trip. If I was going to tip an upset this would be it.

Forrestdale v Manning
By all accounts Manning played well against Kellerberin-Tammin cough sorry Rossmoyne last week, so this one could be a close one.

Rossmoyne v Bayswater
Is winning a flag with a bunch of paid players you’ve bought in from the country really a flag? According to Rossmoyne, yes.
I am aware they’ve been a decent side for a few years, but the sheer volume of players in is unbelievable.
Unfortunately it’s going to be a tough day for Bayswater- Rossmoyne by 10+

Who Cares what Country Players Rossmoyne has they cant play 10 with the points system ,im still filthy when Noranda beat us in the gf all to find out that half there side was paid and yet that photo still sits in there clubtooms and guess what there all back but you not saying anything at all about that Honestly if Rossmoyne , Manning , Roleystone anyone has country boys its not cheating it means they must have a good club culture also Piara and baysie all have country guys as well as manning ,Please my team arent that good but i would love 10 country boys to come to us and like i said its not cheating its about playing footy so lets just get on with footy Good Luck to all teams this weekend hopefully get off work early go around and watch piara and noranda will be a good game

I agree with both sides. If they were going to your club you would be happy and welcome them but would be hard knowing that they are only there for a year and would be upsetting other loyal players by taking there spots and may lose a few players because of it and hurt them the next season.

Looking at Rossmoynes teamsheets, they only have 4 type 2’s in their lineup for today’s game. They are only at 40 points, so I think it’s a bit harsh on them to be saying they have loaded up with country players.
I see former East Freo player Frazer Perry in the lineup today, a huge in for them.

It does seem like they have a few in their reserves, but from memory they have always lacked depth so Credit to them.

Looks like the season is going to be a good one. Piara Looking the goods. Watch out for the dark horse this year. Forrestdale looking very strong in League and Ressies.
