I thought I would start this, as its Wednesday before the GF , our first in 10 years and there is SFA posts or discussion, unbelievable!

Anyway are there any SFFC people left out there on this site? from what I can see lately there is only Southerner left ( during my Hiatus ) and maybe Roman - what happened to the others?

Who's going to the GF?
Its our first ever at Optus - no more Subi.
Any Plans before or after game?
Does anyone give us a chance?

So far the level of interest doesnt augur well for the attendance!

Baz hoping for a good contest, weather conditions look perfect 23 and fine. I rang the Subi front desk to buy tickets through the club but they had sold out early yesterday so maybe a sign that a reasonable crowd will turn up. I think one of your boys came off with a knee in the prelim, any news on how bad it is, anyone else in doubt? I think Subi will have most available, Hoskins, our best run with player would still be in doubt and would be surprised if Clang plays after that nasty facial injury and his form has not been great, will be interesting if Wardman sticks with just the one ruckman, has worked all year I guess.

Hoping the red and white army turn out in numbers, your last GF was against us and you won that easily back in '09, it's a two horse race so anything can happen on the day.

That's interesting about ringing the club for tickets.

I rang SFFC asked same thing and they said they didn't sell tickets and go to website.

Ditto from me Baz. I think your boys are a real chance and it won't be a walk in the park like last year. Given all the noise that was happening at Joondy around that time I'm not surprised they were a bit distracted. You lot are coming off two very solid hit outs and performed well in both except for about 10 minutes in the third quarter against us. I think it will be a cracker and wish Souths all the best. I'll be disappointed if we lose of course but won't be pissed off to get beaten by a team loaded up with full time professionals. This time it will be on your team's merit by players committed to the big red V and you can't argue with that.

The South boys are catching up at The Camfield before the game and at the club after the game.
It's going to very tough to beat them with their experience but as they say it's a two horse race and anything can happen. The bookies don't give us much chance with us at $6 and S at $1.13

I'm just proud of our boys for just making it because I for one didn't even dream of making a GF at the start of the season when losing so many quality players. Everybody tipped us as the biggest sliders. We have already overachieved for mine as last year we should have made it.

I think all of the WA footy public except Subi supporters will be barracking for South Freo Roman and quite rightly so as far as I'm concerned. Whilst I've enjoyed the ride over the last 15 years it has gone on far too long to be healthy for the comp...FMD...I might even barrack for Souths. Nah...just kidding.

Sadly is looking that way for Grand Final day! The H & A fixtures this season (as previously posted) has been one of the lowest attended for some years. In my too many travels for work purposes this week, have only heard Wafl mentioned once. Haven't heard any Wafl pre grand final discussion/ advertising at all on mainstream radio.
Having said that, hoping there is sell-out crowd in attendance. The weather looks like being Fine.

Why would you hold the WAFL GF in a stadium that holds 60k?
Just stupid and bloody minded.
Attendance will be lucky to be 10k if that.
