Agree Garlett was reckless but FMD accept a week? was that because he had carryover bad record from previous indiscretions?
On that basis from what I have heard reported Dawson , Wheeler and co should expect a few weeks holiday??

not sure mate...it just said he'd accepted a week. I also didn't see the Wheeler or Dawson incidents. Dawson was in front of the stand where I was sitting but was looking elsewhere when it happened but based on the Subi players and crowds reaction it couldn't have been great. the commentators on 720 on the way home thought Dawson would be in strife. Wheeler was way down in the goal square so not sure exactly what he did but the umpie was straight over to him and took the book out so think he's in strife as well. The other one for concern from a Subi perspective is Jordan Lockyer's hit on Dawson. It look like a pretty solid whack to the side of his face with a fist or open hand. Dawson didn't remonstrate and no umpies saw it but from where I was he could go as well which will be a huge loss.

Mate this circus called the WAFL gets more entertaining day by day. WTF how can you make an announcement on your official website then make a change a short time later??

they put up the penalty and then its up to the club to accept it or not and then if accepted then they factor in whether a guilty plea reduces the penalty.

that makes sense MO but think the website should show the initial penalty and what it would reduce down to with a guilty plea if at all...it doesn't currently do that.

Maybe they are setting it up to let Dawson off with a reprimand and then they will have to do the same for the Subi boys. That would be a good result for us.
