Ahh yep I remember Gavin Carter #30 for SF a big Full Back played a couple of State games too.
Also remember Graeme Carter #26 for Old Easts a big lump of a ruckman was Andrew Purser's back up in the 79 GF.
And Lindsay Carter was a handy type for Perth during that lean period in the early to mid 80s.
Throw in Noel-SF, Peter-SD & Mark-EP and it would be fair to say Carter was a popular surname in the WAFL in the 80s.
