Yep mate, I reckon a new ENHANCED Freo will be 10-12K in COMFORT.

Add to that, the fact that Freo Hospital is now downgraded with advent of Fiona Stanley, and of course the Old Folks home is long gone meaning noise complaints wont be as big an issue as in the past.

Hospital I don't know , last was a respite centre god knows - but seriously there's a lot of land up that end that can go ahead regardless

There would be several peeps eyeing a penthouse or Mediterranean villa under that wall in the outer

Used to be the Base Flats up that end and the Police Boys Club and Gym.

The council could really get them in with a decent community Gym and Rec Facility , the current one at the Aquatic Centre is pretty basic and there is zero room for the indoor pursuits, Badminton, Basketball etc. Now that the old YMCA centre is derelict there's a need, growing all the time with the new inner residential developments filling the place up, these inner urbanites will be chasing a work out venue!

Positive (geez) I recall seeing a shaded corridor from the train station - then across past the gardens leading to the members gate or was it the Gerovich gates on those sketches
