Well we venture to Brownes Stadium to take on the improving Dees in another important clash for both teams.
SF record at Lathlain not good in recent years and we will need to be on our best game to challenge the Dees , who form all reports were impressive last week but unfortunatley did not take the chocolates and will be very keen to get back in the winners list this week.
The key will be which midfield will have the most influence on the game. A reminder to SF players and posters is that we are taking on the Perth FC this week not the Clint Jones football club. Looking forward to a stirring clash. The colts game will be a ripper also with the Dees having a talented bunch of youngsters taking on the top of the table Dogs.

Colts game should be a ripper. Both teams undefeated.

BTW Dwert it hasn't been Brownes Stadium for about three seasons now.

Will be a bit sad to see him out there trying to THWART us.

GRASSY looking forward to seeing you up there.

As expected no outs at this stage and an extended bench to choose the team from which includes Dragovich, Vandealuer, Bewick.

I dont think our record in recent seasons is that flash coming off these blasted byes, I stand to be corrected. Controlling the midfield and clearances will be crucial on the wide open expanses of Lathlain Park. Our forward line has been dangerous and if given enough quality football by the mids will create head aches for the Dees defenders.
I would like to see a little bit of work put into a few of their midfielders to quell their effectiveness ie Tropiano , Sinclair , Jones etc
Wilt will be a tough encounter against an improving Demons but we bring our best football and we are chance to take the chocolates.
Colts game will be ripper and worth getting there early to look at.

souths should win this one with a leg in the air. from what I saw of Perth last week the key to getting over them is to shutdown their midfield. Subi did it well and Mahoney/Phelan kept McKenna very quiet and while Troppo and Jones got a fair bit of it..they were always under pressure and didn't really hurts us too much. I haven't seen Souths this year but believe you have a very good midfield so based on that alone you should get the chocolates.

Like to think so BC, but coming off a bye and tbh our record at Latho is a bit sus at times, never have liked the joint, that said in more recent times with pfc rock bottom it has improved.

Perth colts have beaten the two weakest sides in the comp in WP and Subi.....whilst snuck over the line v Cl who had their 3 best colts players out who more than likely are individually the states best mid, ruck and forward for colts footy......this weekend will definitely be a true indicator on how good Perths youngsters are......whilst you can only beat what is in front of you I think sides like Perth, EF and EP are definitely behind SD and SF......

As for the league, Perth to win by 3 goals and finally end SF unbeaten streak in all grades this year.

I'd have to concur freeze unfortunately ...perhaps in all 3 grades? think we r ripe for the picking here...never easy to say but the bye certainly hasn't been our friend the last few years ...
