A mate was listening to the ABC radio broadcast - if you go by the way it was discussed I would say you are correct ..
Lets hope they aren't there usual selves and put a two (2) week to it.
As with umpires - this lot aren't consistent.

Well what a wicked way to start the year of 2015.

A hard fought game which was tough in the packs. Was excellent to see us maintain the pressure and wear them down.

Thought the efforts by Blaine Wilson, Higgins, Hams x 2, Bewick and Schloithe was great but was a very even team effort. For example Whitey kicked 4, Saunders a couple, McIntosh, Ross and Sellar were all solid down back and Kelly, Cook and Martinez did some good things in the middle, as did Verrier.

To only let WP kick 6-7 goals for the night was a vast difference compared to the way we leaked goals this time last year. Bit of an AFL kind of team defence approach. 3 of those goals came from direct SF turnovers as well so hopefully they can be eradicated soon.

As for the whingers and moaners regarding the umpires (and a few of you last night embarrassed yourselves with corny / outdated / dull comments) pull up hey? Yep, we got a nice run for the first one and a half quarters but bloody hell most of them were there. Blokes getting coat hangered and sat on in the back and you still whinge and complain?? DUMB!!

Thought the crowd would have been 2,500 - 2,750?? Was quite good I thought considering Australia were live on tv playing the Pakis.

Considering that Bairstow, Mugumbwa, Shergza, Luff, Gillespie, Adam and Mitch Carter, Parry, Borovac and Dell'olio either aren't playing this week or playing ressies suggests we have some depth.

A great start - very pleased indeed.

Perth next week.

Whitey should be ok as well with the report. Was more of a 45 degree hip hitting shoulder/upper arm than hitting head on . . . but hey who knows.

Oh yeah - and Kuenen - you're weak as piss mate.

I agree mate, it's just such a pity WAFC could not secure two more radio broadcasters , today only one is being broadcast on 6 IX digital...which most people can't get anyway, although one game is on a TV...

If abc radio was more consistent, it would not be an issue. Pirate Fremantle looks like it's lost too? Their online stream thingy is out of action and not working

Another good way to start the season is the attendance figure. Have heard a total of just a tick over 2 thousand three hundred people at the ground.

Yeah mate I am stoked with the backline's effort last night - huge!

Got the depth to give us some flexibility now but the next few weeks will pretty much define things I reckon
