Seems as though Shaun Bewick has done his knee already as reported on the SF website. Not sure how bad it is but any knee sucks!!

Monaco, doubt he will be suiting up in the red v.

Bit small still I reckon to mix it with the big boys but I reckon our midfield will be quick and strong.

Popped down to freo Oval yesterday morning to have a look at the fellas in an intra-club game.

Can confirm that Andreoli, Carter, Gillespie, White, Banner and Reece Adams all there.

Didn't see Monaco =)

Was told that Bewick has had a groin operation, not a knee so I'm unsure what is going on there really. 12 weeks maybe.

Lewis Harvey still there even though it was reported he had left and I think he wasn't even on the WAFL list but he is there which is good. Didn't see Grima or Bairstow playing.

Also noticed a fella by the name of Selby le Steere running around. Ex-EF who could be handy for us and add a bit of height.

Myles Bolger could be a surprise for us in the ruck maybe too. No Cook or Miller but its early. Shergza and Mugumbwa ran some water. Looked pretty quick and fresh but everyone does right now.

Hopefully our midfield with the likes Banner, Cook, Gugliamana, Grima, Adams, Carter, Andreoli, Bairstow, Miller, Burnett, Schloithe, Winter and some youngsters we should get some footy.

Lose a Monaco gain a Selby.....like for like I guess.....hopefully Selby can seek that league exposure he struggled to get at EF....

Selby had a break out year last year, with his good mate Craig White, at the Balmain Dockes in the Sydney league from all reports....represented the league in their annual clash with the Vic Amateurs.....good luck to the kid....
