I never saw the stoush in the bar as I went straight down to let the umps what I thought of their efforts. Perth's first 8 goals, 7 from free kicks in the forward half. Talk about keeping a side in a contest.

After I said my bit I reckon 12 Perth supporters came from the fence after hearing what I said and starting giving me the clap, the cheer and some words were exchanged. Mentioning 1977 ended the noise rather sharply though

Right now would be the worst possible time to get Garlett. If he is seriously going to play with Dandaragan (that may be a joke, ? I dunno) but that sums up his lazy mindset. Maybe the lad needs his ego stroked even more beating shearers and farmers. He would be of no value to a team in the WAFL right now. No value whatsoever. If these are true facts, he needs to be left alone to work it our for himself. He may be loving all this attention, for his sake I hope not. When Ashley Sampi went away to hunt turtles, he was finished as a player. He could have been anything that boy, like Garlett not quite hungry enough for it. His choice.

He has polarised the footy world mate that's for sure .... but this guy can play and he has super clean skills - sadly lacking at the Port atm
