But the second half we piled the goals on, booting away with 11 goals, outstanding efficiency as well.

Looked like Subi might get a rattle for top spot, only to charge home to hang on most likely for good now.

Not sure what the future for EF is, was looking at the faces of the bard and officials during the second half and they all looked pretty despondent. But they do have a new ground on the cards.

Very true Bazza, SF just seem to find those next level players who can step into the breach when a few of your key boys are out....saying that always handy having your key goal kickers fit and firing most weeks....how many games has Shaw missed since leaving Port?...consistent class act at the WAFL level....EF has little depth, but saying that came away with the colts and reserves wins..... quite surprised SF reserves lost, considering EF had a fair few colts boys in that reserves side.....to push SF for 4 quarters, EF would need to be at full strength.....with about 7-8 first 22 players out, that result was always on the cards....just a matter of when SF would get on top....not if.
