a very good win today - a late out in Suban but after a tight first quarter and the same in the initial stages of the second , we blew them away with some great footy and at one stage in the third we could have won by anything but toward the end we gave them some junk stuff to make it look better I thought
If there was ever something in football that has near brought water to the eyes it was Cam McCarthy's goal and the boys swamped the young bloke  - by jesus that was a good moment I was rapt for him

Yes well done to a very good Souths team, Higgins dominated for 3 qtrs and Schloithe was BOG by the length of the straight. brave fight back in the last by Subi given we lost 2 key mids before qtr time, only 2 on the bench for 3 qtrs and Miller was badly cramping in the 3rd so a very good effort to win the last. Any suggestion that Souths put the cue in the rack only had to look at Schloithe who was on hands and knees at the end, he was trying his guts out to the end. With a break or two we could have been 11 point down with 10 mins to go but we didn't deserve it. Souths are very very good.

not going to demean either side by posting anything - well other than we had a very good stretch of footy that put the result beyond doubt 

We were cruising till midway through the 3rd qtr and then we were terrible. Todd let them have it at 3 qtr time and after the game. Subi of old would have steamrolled us from that point on. They are a shadow of pre 2019.
