Labour 10,250,000 votes for 202 seats..
Tories 13,500,000 voted for 368 seats.
Scottish Nationals 1,130,000 votes for 48 of the 52 Scottish seats...3-3% of the National vote. And just over 38% of the Scottish vote.
The Scottish Government creates about 30% of the revenue it requires to run its government. Mostly from North Sea Oil+Gas royalties. Boris should cut Sturgon free to join the EU.Let them bankroll another bankrupt European small country.

Scotland should of gone alone in the 80s, thats when North Sea Oil was at its peak, its long past as a viable national income stream now.

Spot on, apart from being the most unpopular dead weight leader in history ( yes even worse than Shorten) Corbyns hopeless stance on Brexit ( a new deal - another referendum ffs ) , his loon Marxists based economic policy were never going to convince anyone but the fellow loons.

UK Labour are in a real mess, they cannot win power without Scottish seats, and the front bench is putrid.

Bazza:the biggest problem in NI is the the unwillingness of the DUP to get rid of Arlene Foster. The woman has not been liked since -- together with SF -- she cost the province all that money over some subsiding scheme . In regards to Dodds, as I understand it, there was a Nationalist pact and only SF stood against him.

www.bbc.com/news/election/2019/results/northern_ireland

Here is the vote in NI -- Nationalists got 43 per cent of the vote
Most of the Alliance party voters live in East Belfast and are pro-union.

It was a good result for the moderates ie: alliance and the SDLP; this, also, suggests that the northern irish want their parliament back -- over to you Arlene and that woman whom runs SF

I remember you saying the DUP would keep all there 10 seats, and I told you not a chance.

Glad one of us has a handle of British politics.

Those under 40 voted strongly in favour of the Labour party in the recent general election - so perhaps there is some hope for the future. Also, those with a high level of education were more likely to have voted for the labour party - this could explain why you are at odds with JC's world view Bazza.
