Afternoon to you also, BC.

I have been dropping in from time to time to get updates, both on the news sites, and OzF. Fortunately I can pick and choose my times - because, as you know, I am very busy - and not be depressed with what I imagine is wall-to-wall media bullshit down there.

I have some classical musical playing in the background - at the moment it is playing 'Schadenfreudes greatest hits.

Are you channeling Keating jack? He used to get high on Tchaikovsky before he went into battle in parliament lol.

The govt is just playing right into the hands of the minor parties who should have a windfall at the next election. I'm waiting for Clive Palmer to come out of his shell. Vote 1 Clive Palmer!
Get on your bike.
It was Adam and Eve not Adam and Steve.
POTUS #45 & #47

if he ever pulls a stunt such as that with clossing the 'House', again he should be made to see the GG --he has a majority of one and can govern. The GG would be within his rights to appont Bill for three months pendding the result of a general election.

It would be great to see his lordship's face in such an eventuality.
There are a lot of gutluss people in that parliamentary Liberal party, from the 'party whip', to cabinet ministers.

Apparently no-one knows what's going down tomorrow!
It's been said the spill motion will only proceed tomorrow if turnbull sees the petition with a majority of MPs signatures supporting dutton. Going by the reports, 43 signatures are required and currently there's 40. Obviously there is not enough.
Not unless turnbull just pulls the pin and walks?

Bishop and Morrison will split the moderate vote.

Dutton is a walk up now I reckon.

Not a bad thing , at least he will own the loss at the next election given his cronies have caused this mess.

Is'nt Dutton still trying to prove he has been eligible to sit in parliament for the better part of a decade?

Of the 4 candidates stepping up today..
1.Malcolm Pm not suited to run this party.
2.Morrison Good operator and liked by voters. Keeps a lot of stuff quiet doesn't talk pubically.
3.Julie Bishop Looks like a classy operator. But 100% Polotition snake in the grass.
4.Dutton the least popular of all 4.But sounds like an Aussie Patriot. He would be my choice.
