If he gets through to the 3rd round, which I doubt he will, he is due for a mouthwatering 3rd round clash with Nick Kygrios. That would pack them in the stands and get everyone watching at home and the pubs.

Not only do I doubt him getting through to the 3rd round I doubt him getting through the 1st round, in fact I doubt that he will actually see it through the first 3 sets to lose. My money says he forfeits with the score at 2 sets down and trailing 4-0 in the 3rd.
I do realise that this does neglect his capacity to completely capitulate and fold 6-0 in the 3rd in a typically petulant performance.

Good straight sets win by Tomic.....next up is the highly ranked Japanese player.....tough ask but on grass Tomics best chance to win.....Krygios wins in 4.....so that 3 rd showdown still a possibility....good to see a few other Aussie men through plus Stosur, Gavrilova and Barty in the ladies......I think this time last year Aust lost practically everyone after round 1.....could still happen after round 2 tho.....LOL

There are 128 players in the first round; 64 players in the second round and 32 players in the 3rd round. Given Stosur and Gavrilova are scheduled to play each other I fail to understand how all Australians will be knocked out by the end of the second round.

Very true 42...but then again one could say Gavrilova is an ex Russian who jumped ship, donned colours of another, for the betterment of her career...kind of like what a few SD products had to do playing for Peel in the WAFL in pursuit of an AFL career....were these boys SD or Peel boys, when they donned the Peel colours in the WAFL in your eyes?....

Thus I still stand by the comment, if Stosur loses and all the other Aussie players lose.....practically Aust will have no one left after round 2...but then again you being so insular and black n white in your views, will fail to understand or comprehend my thinking......LOL

News flash to you Freezin the ITF is the arbiter not you.

Very true 42 regarding the LTA....with that logic then, here is a news flash for you.....Freo and WCE are the arbiters in deciding where THEIR players should play in the WAFL....not you mate....so can you PLEASE stop posting repeatedly that the Freo/WCE players should be back at their local clubs and all ES recruits be allocated a WAFL club when not playing AFL.....it has got nothing to do with you....and I'll willingly concede that Gavrilova is no longer a Russian born Aussie tennis player because the LTA said so.....LOL

So the conjoined twins (freezin and BC) have dropped their facade that they care one iota about the WAFL. frezin if you wanted to mute me then you really should have bought this site when it was available.
