Been to Mirrabooka recently? Hardly surprising.

I have seen situations where dogs have charged up to kids in playgrounds and scared them without any intervention from the owner who thinks that the dog is harmless, but doesn't understand that they can nip people even if they are just playing. I have been bitten by a dog who was 'just excited' and it bloody hurt as I told the owner in no uncertain terms.

Horse shit Mike if ppl are scared of dogs then its pretty simple - don't visit parks where dogs are allowed off the leash! The park where this happened was a park where dogs are allowed off, so zero excuses for this piece of shit who I would gladly kill with his own knife if he did it to my dog

well said Swandog.

Lets not forget he was walking his own dog according to the news reports....... Like you Swandog I would also kill him if he did that to my dogs but it would be slow and painful, a knife would not be my first choice of weapon either......

Its a public park and therefore everyone is entitled to go there. I am talking about a minority of dog owners who allow their dogs to jump on little kids sometimes in playgrounds but their owners take no action. The vast majority of dog owners are responsible but I have personally been threatened by an idiot in a park whose rotweiller jumped at one of my kids when we were at a cricket nets and I had the temerity to ask him to call the dog off.
Having said that I hope they hit this dog killer with everything the law allows.
